The hotel is situated in a great location, down the road from another pub and close to the main attractions and Starr Gate tram stop. The staff are friendly and provide good service. The rooms are basic but clean, with attention to detail in terms of cleanliness. Although the rooms only have a small electric heater, they are kept warm enough. The breakfast at the pub/restaurant next door is tasty and reasonably priced.
